These last years have brought dramatic changes to our lives. While horizons have drawn in for many, travel writers have continued to reach out, rediscovering and reinterpreting the world for a new age. In April 2023, Rory MacLean curated the first Sherborne Travel Writing Festival, bringing together ten of the UK’s finest travel writers to transport readers, listeners, armchair and intrepid travellers alike towards the four corners of the globe.
