Salina Innovation Foundation (dba The Temple) mission is to save and preserve the historic Salina Temple building for use as a community resource center. The building was completed in 1927, and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The building has a rich history, including serving as a USO center for WWII and featured John Philip Sousa at the grand opening in 1927. Today, The Salina Innovation Foundation is a 501(c)3 formed to save and repurpose this grand space for community. Temple events help to preserve and maintain the unique space for future generations to enjoy.
